My Story

I think it is safe to say we have all been affected in some way by the vicious disease that is cancer. Whether it be a member of our family... A friend... A family friend - we all know how this horrible disease can affect those we love and care about; not to mention those we love who sadly cannot be with us anymore. I will be running Race For Life this year in honor of the beloved family members I have lost. As well as for anybody I know who has been affected by cancer. I love you all and hope very much that one day we can beat cancer forever.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
