My Story
Hey, My name is Leanne and I’ve decided to stand up to Cancer! Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. My mother & Nan have fought different types of cancer and beat it! One of my close friends baby boy is still going through his fight, It’s now my turn to give back, and show how proud of them I am! If they can fight cancer then I run 5k! Anyone who knows me knows that I always take the easy way out of things, I would rather bus or catch an Uber then walk anywhere! But cancer is no joke and I’m going to show how serious I am by proving I can do this! The same as the millions of people fighting this horrible disease on a daily basis! 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
