My Story
I have decided to fundraise not only for my own personal challenge but to help a charity that is close to my 💗 My Husband was diagnosed with both bowel and liver cancer back in 2012. It was a tough year not just for my husband but myself and the rest of the family, I honestly thought I would be raising my 2 year old daughter alone. But with the right treatment and support my husband was well again a year later and has now been given the all clear after being in remission for the past five years. Not everyone is as lucky unfortunately so I am so grateful for all the support throughout what was the longest, toughest year of our lives and the support that continued for the five years after whilst my husband was in remission, My little girl is 8 now and we also have a 1 year old boy life is good for us now all because of treatments and support that were available to my husband and I am thankful every day SO I'm doing this not only for my husband but for everyone who has Lost,Is Fighting or has Survived this awful disease...
