My Story
Many of you may not be aware of my Families history of Cancer but on my Mother’s side cancer is a rife, Cancer is affecting more and more people and becoming more aggressive. I know a sponsored head shave seems drastic to some, but my darling Mum never got a chance to fight hers, but I can use her memory to fight for her. Last year alone we lost 3 beautiful souls far too soon. Cancer research is doing amazing work not only on trying to find new treatment options but working on ways that we can detect cancer earlier and I am extremely proud to be doing this. My hair will be going to the little princess trust who make wigs for children who have lost their hair due to their cancer treatment.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
