My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I’m going to walk 100 miles throughout May to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. Please show your support and help fund life-saving research by donating to my page. Sadly, my life, and the lives of so many others, have been tragically affected by cancer, which is devastating. I lost my mum, aged just 48, to cancer, have been affected myself and have watched good friends battle with this horrific disease. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
