Leanne takes on Sweatember

This September, I’m taking on Sweatember, exercising every day of the month to raise money for Cancer Research UK. Help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured by sponsoring me. After changing my lifestyle almost 2 years ago I manage to not only loose weight & tone up, become healthier, the fittest I've ever been and become more comfortable with my body. After having 2 beautiful girls I totally abused my body throughout both pregnancies. My body is covered on stretch Mark's & my lower stomach is over stretched. I have major issues that effect what I do, what I wear & how I feel making me extremely body conscious. With social media and general pressures I find you constantly critique yourself and want to be better comparing yourself to perfect pics you see on Instagram, Facebook or in magazines Over the last 2 years I've realised there is no such thing as perfect & just want be happy with how I look & feel. I've found that exercise, keeping fit & active not only helped me to look & feel better physically but mentally too! I've personally been in a position to realise life is far too short. You don't appreciate how much so until YOUR LIFE is affected. We dont give our health a second thought until something is wrong. My life is amazing, to me its perfect now I have everything I could ever wish for....the thought that this could change was frightening. I make sure I make the most of everyday with my family... doing things we love-spending as much time together as possible. Recently I've read so many sad stories of families being effected by different illness's..getting devastating, life changing news is unthinkable I can only imagine it making you feel so helpless & lonely. I was inspired to do a little something positive. Earlier this week I opted to become a blood & stemcell donor not realising how easy it was to donate. Coming across this fundraiser made me realise I can do more & it sounds so achievable! Help me to help others!!.... I'm hoping to raise just £50 by pushing myself a little more to make sure I get active EVERY day in September please donate or join in Thank you xxxx
