My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. I actually took part in Pretty Muddy back in 2014, so coming back to it 12 years later feels really full circle! This time, it’s not about running perfectly, it’s about: showing up, moving through challenges, and doing something meaningful. The race will be taking place in Sandwell Valley, a place I already feel deeply connected to, which makes this even more special. If you feel called to support, even a small donation means so much. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
