I'm taking on a Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer sooner and help those affected.

Julie
My Story
Last year I lost my friend Julie to cancer. She was such a bold character and one that can never be forgotten. She took me to my first Ice Hockey game and taught me all the rules and chants. This is the least I can do to honor her memory and everything she taught me about loving myself and standing up for what I believe in. This year one of my best friends lost his dad to cancer after a long battle. Damon has been so strong after the loss of his dad and I could not be prouder of him for carrying on with such drive and determination.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour.
