I'm taking on a Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer sooner and help those affected.

In memory of

Julie

Last year I lost my friend Julie to cancer. She was such a bold character and one that can never be forgotten. She took me to my first Ice Hockey game and taught me all the rules and chants. This is the least I can do to honor her memory and everything she taught me about loving myself and standing up for what I believe in.

This year one of my best friends lost his dad to cancer after a long battle. Damon has been so strong after the loss of his dad and I could not be prouder of him for carrying on with such drive and determination.
