My Story
Recently an old work colleague of mine passed away from a brain tumour. It made me stop and think about how many people we lose to cancer, and how many times we grieve for those we love. 💛 With over 200 different types of cancer, research is vital. So, I’m running 10 days of 5km to raise money for Cancer Research UK. I’m 3 runs in already and hoping to exceed my target distance along the way. 🏃♀️ My goal is to raise £100. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
