My Story
This March I’m walking 10,000 steps a day throughout the month to help beat cancer sooner. Two of the most strongest women in my life: my mum and grandma have both fought cancer, and are still having treatment, this isn't something I usually post about publicly however they are the reason Im taking part in walking so much! The past few years I have wanted to take part in a marathon although Ive always missed the dates - This is the first fundraiser that im on time to participate in, and im jumping in. Im thankful for all of the treatment my mum and grandma have been receiving, and without funding or research I know that they may not have got the treatment they needed, and for me to be able to raise some money and put even 0.01% towards research is still important to me.
