My Story

We are a group of friends in year 3 and year 5 at William Torbitt Primary School in Newbury Park who are extremely excited to take part in the Race for Life Pretty Muddy to show love and support for our friend. At the delicate age of 7, she was diagnosed with leaukemia. She showed a tremendous amount of courage and resilience in her journey with cancer. Thanks to Cancer Research UK and the groundbreaking work that they do, she received treatment and is now back at school with us. Our friend has got her lovely smile back.
