My Story
I set myself a New Year's resolution (don't we all...) to challenge myself, maybe a 10k race, tough mudder, something like that (really I just wanted a free shirt and a medal to show off...) Up popped UltraChallenges on my Instagram feed and within a 20 minutes of flicking through their website I'd signed up to the London 2 Brighton Challenge. All 100km. In one go. Continuously. Through the night. I know what you're thinking and yes, my marbles may have gone AWOL and I've bitten off more than I can chew, but hey, I wanted a challenge, and I've certainly got one. Similar to so many people on this planet, the big C has had a direct impact on my family and friends, and when it comes to fundraising, CRUK is so close to my heart. Any donations would mean the world, even just a couple of quid (I'm sure you can forgo that extra pint on Friday night...) can help with early detection and diagnosis, better treatments, and ultimately a cure.
