My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This June, I’m walking 100 miles in the month to help beat cancer. This charity is special to me as I have had two grandparents and other family members, friends and colleagues diagnosed with cancer. In February 2019 my Grandad was diagnosed with skin cancer and following major surgery involving the removal of his right ear and time in ITU he was unfortunately isolated from the rest of the family due to Covid which lasted for months. He also had to make the difficult decision not to receive radiotherapy due to the risks with Covid. Despite this my Grandad was extremely brave, positive and kept his wicked sense of humour and is doing well with regular check ups. Any small donation would help and I’d be extremely grateful!! Thank you so much x 1 in 2 of us will get cancer in our lifetime. We can all play our part to support the research that will beat it. Help fund life-saving research by making a donation to my page.
