My Story
I have always been of the mindset that cancer wouldn’t affect anyone close to me, but that changed this year. During the month of October I am going to walk 100 miles to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. My sister Kendal, who is currently living in Dubai will also be doing the same! In the grand scheme of things I know it’s not much, but I hope that by me doing this it’s gives whoever is going through treatment, diagnosis or if a loved one is, just a little bit of courage, that you’re not alone. I also know how hard the cost of living is so even if you could spare £1, it all adds up and goes a long way. Thank you so much. Lauren x

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
