In memory of
My dad
My dad was diagnosed with sarcoma on April 8th 2019 and passed away on June 4th 2019. Less than two months after being diagnosed. Sarcoma is a rare and aggressive form of cancer and often by the time it is found, it will of already spread. This is because sarcoma is often starts in your bones or soft tissue and symptoms are often misdiagnosed as something else. My dad had pain and a lump in his knee for a year before it was diagnosed as cancer. Had he of been diagnosed sooner, the outcome could of been different for him. I am doing race for Life for the second time to raise awareness of sarcoma, and to raise money for cancer research, in memory of my dad.
