My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. I'm running in memory of my mum who I lost when I was 13 years old and in memory of my grandma who I lost last year. I'm running for them to remember all the happy times and to put all my energy into the race because I want them to be proud of me I want them to be proud of where I am today even though I've made mistakes and times have been hard I want them to know I'm trying everyday to be a better person.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
