I'm running a 10km Race for Life to raise money to help fund future research trials.

Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives.

1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.

Both my nanna and my grandma have had mastectomys due to breast cancer and both thankfully survived this terrible ordeal. Every time my nanna gets the all clear it is a sigh of relief knowing she is well and it hasn’t come back. My other nan has suffered from lung cancer and again she survived too. I feel like it is my time to do something to show them how proud I am of them each winning their battle. I want to raise money to support future treatments and operations that can help other people to survive and live their lives.

I am going from couch potato to completing a 10km run to improve my own fitness and help save lives. If you could sponsor me even £1 it would mean a lot and encourage me to complete my goal.

Thanks for reading my story of why I have chosen to run the race for life 2018 :)
