We’re raising as much as we can to beat cancer
My Story
9 years ago, the news every family could possibly dread was sprung upon us! Mr Pitt- the strongest, funniest man, our dad was given a curve ball, a diagnosis of Cancer. For the entirety of his illness he didn’t stop smiling, he didn’t give up, he didn’t moan (anymore than usual), he just faced it with a strength and courage that we can only aspire to achieve. With the dedication, knowledge and hard work of all of the people involved with curing our dad, he made it. But this wouldn’t have been possible had it not been for the research that goes into curing cancer. We know first hand what it’s like- the endless trips to hospital, watching someone you love in pain, the worry and unknown of what tomorrow might bring- but thankfully he did it. We couldn’t be prouder of you! Please please donate anything you can to Cancer Research. The three of us (Lauren, Emily and the man himself) will be running through London to raise as much money as we can to say a thank you for all Cancer Research did for us at the Vitality 10K.
