In memory of a remarkable lady whom I had the privilege to know: Mrs Claire King-Jones.
In memory of
Claire King-Jones
It's a sad truth that cancer doesn't care who you are, what an amazing job you might do or the good you do in this world. It can get any of us, and last year it took one of the best of us. Mrs Claire King-Jones was not only a fabulous person but an inspirational teacher who literally helped to better the lives of less privileged kids in one of the most deprived areas of London. Not only this but she made my friend, and yet another exceptionally brilliant lady, the happiest I've ever seen her. I was extremely privileged to have known Claire for, sadly, the short time that I did and to have attended her marriage to Emma on such a gorgeous day last Spring. It truly was the most beautiful wedding I have ever been to in every way possible. Unfortunately, however, Claire lost her fight in the Autumn but she has left behind a legacy of hope, a passion for doing good and the will for everyone who knew her to live life to the full every single day. This is my small way of honouring her memory and helping to do that extra bit of good by, hopefully, raising lots of money to fund vital research so that others may survive. Please give what you can to support this cause. I assure you I will need all the support I can get to finish!!! For you, Claire King-Jones. I am honoured to have known you and to have your beautiful wife as a friend. X Each year Cancer Research UK’s scientists get closer to beating cancer, and they’ve helped double survival rates in the last 40 years. But we can’t stop there. Only with our continued support can they turn this research into breakthroughs that save millions of lives. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure.
