I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer

Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives.

1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.

A lot of people don't know but when I was 18 I discovered I had 3 breast lumps, 2 on my left side and 1 on my right. I had to have a hour operation to remove these and once removed were tested. The test results showed I had 1 cyst and 2 Phylloydes tumours which are fast growing masses which form from periductal stromal cells of the breast, in other words wasn't cancerous luckily for me, but 10% of them can be. I have to have yearly check ups and have been since the operation in May 2015. I have since had a close family member diagnosed with Breast Cancer and thankfully in the last month been given the all clear. I would like to do my bit in fund raising for a charity close to me.
