Laura's Race for Life
Guildford 5K 2017
Sun 30 Jul 2017
My Aunty Maureen died at the age of 33 from skin cancer. My Great Aunt Betty died of breast cancer after a battle lasting several years. Friends too have succumbed to this disease and we all have a 1 in 2 chance of getting some form of cancer in our lifetimes. Evidently today treatment is more advanced and survival rates are improving. However this can only continue when money is invested in research and treatment. This is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k (bar any serious injury running across Suffolk fields in the next week) to raise money and save lives. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK.
