My Story

My story, or perhaps my Mum's. I originally decided to enter in the Pretty Muddy challenge as a way to get motivated to become fitter and lose weight help control my Type 2 diabetes as well as support a charity for a disease that has affected so many people. Only a few weeks after entering, my mum was diagnosed with cancer of the womb. It was such a shock to our family as it is something you don't expect. She has recently undergone a hysterectomy and has since been told that they had removed all the cancer and without the need for any further treatment and is at low risk. She has fought with bravery and courage and has been and her recovery has been amazing she has been an inspiration to not only me but our family. I just hope I can tackle this Pretty Muddy challenge with even a small portion of her strength. If you are able to support me by donating I would appreciate it gratefully. Thank you!
