I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money in memory of Brian Rees.

My Story
I am a race for life veteran but usually walk it with my family, this year I am running it by myself! I have been working on my fitness since January 2019 with this goal in mind. In November 2018 we lost my partners father who had battled cancer for many years. I’ve seen the effect cancer has not only on the person suffering but the entire family. They are a wonderful strong family and Brian was a wonderful man, I would like to raise as much as possible in his memory.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
