With one of my very best friends recently diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer, the cause is closer to my heart than ever. This particular type of breast cancer still has no modern therapies available, and patients endure a gruelling chemo regime to try to beat their disease. We have made amazing progress in cancer treamtments but we still have so much do to, and to steal a supermarket strapline, "every penny counts"!
CAUSE
Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
