My Story
1 in 2 people will be affected by cancer at least once in their lives. Everyone knows someone who has either had it and beaten it, or had it and sadly lost their fight. Personally I've known people on both sides, fortunately my grams is one of many survivors. She fought so hard, and is happily living her cancer-free life at the moment. However for so many their story isn't a happy one. Cancer research UK are always making the impossible become possible for many different people. They can't continue their fantastic work without much needed funds. Which is why I'm doing the 5k race for life this year. I might even run some of the course (for those that know me know I don't run!) so please please please give what you can. No matter how big or how small, every single penny raised funds the amazing work they do. Cancer doesn't care! It doesn't care if you are old, young, thick, thin, yellow, green or blue! It comes when you least expect it. Help me raise as much as we can and together we can beat cancers butt!
