My Story
I am running for my dad, he was diagnosed with Bowel cancer last year. He is the strongest person I know, after weeks in hospital, emergency surgery and months of treatment to heal his wound from the surgery, he has still come back fighting. He took time off work for near enough a year, now he is back working and doing more of the things he loved to do before. I am so proud of him :) He is still undergoing treatment, and we aren't in the clear yet. I decided to to do this run for him, and also many others who are suffering and have suffered. I am also running for my best friends daughter Kimberley, because she like many others has just finished her treatment, and fingers crossed she will be all back to normal soon. Kimberley is a very brave, special little girl. She has endured a lot that many children will never thankfully have to experience, she is a soldier and an inspiration. I would be ever so grateful if you would support me to run for my dad and Kimberley, by donating - even a little will be appreciated. But if you can't donate to sponsor my run, then please share this so others can! Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure.
