I started collaborating with Cancer research 2 years ago with this same challenge but the half marathon. This year I am taking part in the full marathon in London and a week later the 10K walk in Cambridge and It makes me so happyyyy... - Happy because this brings awareness about this disease and the need of fighting together. This challenge is not about being the first one or getting any medal, it is about stopping our busy lives and think of others, those who would love to ‘walk’(=live ) but cannot do it because Cancer is chasing them. - Happy because this is not just a challenge for me but a promise I made to myself when I lost my mother. My mum was fighting against Cancer since she was 30. Her only wish always was to continue with us, to raise her children, be there for her husband, family and friends …. And she did amazingly well. She is an example of strength, determination, positivism and kindness. I feel grateful for all the professionals that along with my mum’s strength made possible for us to share that many years together This is why I would like to fundraiser this cause, to help other families that are going through same situation as we did.
