I'm running my first Great North Run to help raise money for Cancer Research UK!
Hello! In September I am running my first ever Great North Run and raising money for Cancer Research UK. Cancer Research UK's ambition is to accelerate progress and see 3 in 4 patients surviving the disease by 2034. As a statistics lover this is a cause I can truly get behind! Let's boost those stats! Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
