I'm taking on The Great Row to raise funds for Cancer Research UK. I will be rowing a marathon 1 day!

In memory of

Uncle Bill and Nanny B

My Story

On the 18th Feb I'm taking on CRUK's The Great Row. The idea is row a marathon so about 26 miles throughout February however I will be doing it in 1 day!! My aim will be to complete this is around 4-5 hours depending on breaks, injuries or to stretch my legs. I do go to the gym however I am not a rower!! I started training for the row today and did an hour and a half the longest I have rowed for before today is 15minutes so this is a massive challenge for me but all for a great cause! I will be raising money in memory of my Uncle who very sadly passed away last year from cancer and my Nan who I never got to know as I was very young when she passed away. Also for friends who have been through the heartbreak of having a loved one diagnosed or have passed away due to cancer. Devastatingly, 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. But advances in science have put cures within our grasp. Please support me by sponsoring me any amount would be greatly appreciated no matter how small!
