In memory of
John & Wendy Braid, nan & grampa xxx
The 'C' word, the word that no family wants to hear. Especially when it's coupled with 'there's nothing we can do'. Both my nan and grampa were diagnosed at stage 4. Grampa was diagnosed in October 2013 and we lost him April 2014. 6 months. Nan was diagnosed March 2017 and we lost her March 2017. 4 weeks. 4 weeks, that wasn't even enough time for the 'C' word to sink in. Race for Life is my way of saying 'F you Cancer' ?? ????
