Some of you may know that I have a short running history; I trained & ran a half marathon in February...and haven't run since! I am running this race with my mum who goes to multiple exercise classes every week but is not a runner and does not enjoy running...so this race is going to be a challenge for both of us! We are racing in memory of 2 family members who we lost last year to cancer and we are hoping to raise some money for research into this disease that so many have had to deal with. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
