My Story
I'm taking on a Big Hike for Cancer Research UK and I need your support. Last year I walked a marathon. This year, I’m stepping up again because the fight against cancer is far from over. One in two of us will face cancer in our lifetime. That’s not just a statistic. It means almost every family, every friendship group, every workplace is affected. It’s why I’ve chosen to support Cancer Research UK, a charity that’s not only close to my heart, but absolutely vital in the fight to beat cancer for good. Cancer Research UK funds life-saving research into prevention, diagnosis and treatment. Their work has helped double cancer survival in the UK over the last 40 years. Every pound raised brings us closer to new breakthroughs from cutting-edge treatments to earlier detection and ultimately, to cures.
