My Story
I am fortunate enough not to have a close relative battling against cancer. However, I am dedicating this month to a great friend and person who is currently fighting against kidney cancer. I admire him for the strength and positivism he shows everyday and has shown since his fight started. My husband (who considers him his best friend) and I have been accompanying him in this battle only through prayers (he asked us to do so). But I feel that I am able to do more than that. In this month, special for me because it's the month of my birthday, I want to take this challenge and put all my heart and energies in it. I am quite a fit person so I decided to take the challenge of 20,000 steps. In this way, I actually have to do an effort to accomplish it. This is my first time doing this kind of fundraising so I have set the target of £100. I am grateful that you took the time of visiting my fundraising page. I appreciate your help and support.
