My Dad
My Story
Those of you that have known me a long time will know my family history, cancer has taken far too many of my relatives on both sides. I lost my dad when I was 15, he was only 41 years old. I’m going to ‘Walk All Over Cancer’ this month for Dad and all my relatives. There is not a day goes by that I don’t think about and miss my Dad. So if walking 10,000 steps a day for a month can help towards finding a cure I’d like to raise and step as much as I can.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
