Grandad & Michelle
My Story
CRUK is a charity close to my heart. 15 years ago I lost my Grandad Lang to Cancer, this was my first experience. Then last year I supported my Sister-In-Law Michelle through her Cancer journey. She lost her battle in April only 6 weeks after diagnosis. She, 3 years prior, supported me during my Skin Cancer diagnosis to the all clear and used the same positive attitude when battling her own Cancer demon. So I'm now 4 years all clear and miss my Grandad and Michelle. I'm doing this for all my family & friends who have experienced loss through Cancer, are battling it just now or have been lucky enough to kick it's butt!

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
