My Story
In early December 2017 My Great grandmother passed away. She was diagnosed with cancer many many years ago and managed to beat it. Unfortunately it came back and deteriorated rapidly. At her funeral I looked around and saw how broken everyone was not just because she was an amazing daughter, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, surrogate mother and wife to her late husband Leslie Crowther but it's because of what Killed her. That's why I want to raise as much money as possible for race for life. Cancer breaks families apart and I'd hate for that to happen. WE have to be in this together! Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
