My Story
Let's get it straight up front: running a 5k race is a personal goal. I didn't join completely out of the goodness of my heart or because I have all that many experiences with cancer. I joined because I'm almost 5 stone overweight, out of shape, and sick of running out of breath with every stair I climb. I want to become healthy so that I can hike the Grand Canyon, swim with whales, and spend days on end seeing sights I've never seen before. And if I can do some good for other people while I achieve my own goals, then so much the better. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour.
