My Story

The photo is of Lefty, a life size clay model of my left breast made by my dear friend Suzanne Holmes. I will lose the real one in 2 weeks because it is riddled with 9cm of cancerous cells. I don't want to lose her, so I'm auctioning her off (the model) to the highest bidder by 27th April, the day of my mastectomy. All proceeds go to breast cancer research. Help me give her a decent send off, and get over her loss by making a bid on my Facebook page, or make a donation to my Giving page on the Cancer Research website. Thank you. Breast cancer

With almost 140 women diagnosed every day, breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. And, although rarer, around 350 men are also diagnosed with breast cancer every year. The good news is more than two-thirds of women now survive 20 years or more. Help Cancer Research UK find new ways to diagnose and treat the disease.
