LARA'S STORY - I normally run in memory of my Dad and Uncle Victor but this year I am running in support of the battle one of my family members is facing. Jarrett Simpson is 21 (and the grandson of Victor) and over half way through his 3 year treatment plan for acute lymphoblastic leukaemia. To me he is still the little boy I would chase around for kisses (!!!) but he's actually a young man who had started University and was venturing into his adult life. Unfortunately he has been unable to continue at University due to his treatments. Please donate anything you can, we must beat this battle! Thank you ANGIE'S STORY - I am taking part in my first Race for Life in memory of Edna Tooley. She was the mother of someone very close to my heart and the most wonderful grandmother imaginable to my 2 nieces and nephew. Please give anything you can, let's beat this disease. Thank you
