My Story
The 2018 Spirit of Langstone crew of Greg, Paul, Simon, Ivor, Tim and Glynn, coxed by Aileen are currently in training to compete in the Cornish Pilot Gig World Championships to be held in the Isles of Scilly in the first week in May 2018. The team and others from Langstone Gig Club based at Northney Marina on Hayling Island, Hampshire train together both on the water in Chichester Harbour and in the gym and are keen to use that training to contribute to tackling Cancer. They plan to Row 100000 metres as a relay on a Concept 2 rowing machine on Saturday 31st March 2018. The aim is to raise 1/2 penny per metre for a total of £500!
