I'm taking part in Watford's Race for Life to raise money in memory of my Nan.
My Story
After climbing mountains in the Easter holiday I wished I had raised some money for charity in the process, so I am training 3 times per week at the moment to run the Watford 5k and raise some money for Cancer Research UK. 10 years ago on the 9th April 2012 my nan passed away. I was 10 months old when she lost her battle to this dis-ease and although I have loved watching family videos and photos of her I really wish I could have met her now to know what kind of person she was for myself and I wish I could remember her but I wasn't even 1 yet so I can't. I hope you will support me on my first charity fund raising event in memory of my kind hearted nan Kathleen. Thank you. Lana :)
