I’m raising as much as I can to beat cancer

In memory of

Ruth Humes

16 Jun 1950 - 16 Dec 2016

Cancer is happening right now, which is why I’m raising money right now for Cancer Research UK. There’s no time to lose!

Donate to my page today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my page. This year I'm taking part in two running events, Simply Health Gateshead 10k (9thJuly) and Simply Health Great North Run 20K in September to help beat cancer.

Sadly my sister passed away in December 2016 after fighting a battle of non Hodgkins lymphoma since being first diagnosed in 2014.

Ruth was a beautiful, very caring and loving sister, mum and friend of many who's strength and determination kept her going throughout. Her wit and sense of humour never left her and she always had a smile to share.

I'm running in honour of this amazing lady who we all miss so very much.

Please help me raise money in Ruths memory-thank you x

Survival rates for many types of lymphoma has increased significantly – now, twice as many people survive non-Hodgkin lymphoma as in the 1970s. And four out of five people will survive Hodgkin's lymphoma, compared to fewer than half of patients in the 1970s. Help Cancer Research UK improve effective treatments and survival with your donation.
