My Story
My beloved Papa lost his battle with small cell lung cancer in November 2020, at the age of 53, after a year long fight. He was the anchor of my family, the light of my life - he was everything to me. I run this race in the hope that we can make a difference to the lives of those affected by this disease. I run with the hope that one day, families won’t have to grieve because of cancer. I run with the hope that one day soon, we will beat cancer once and for all.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
