I’m lucky enough to say that my grandparents are still with me. Growing up they’ve been my Mum and Dad and are there for me though everything. My Nan has had cancer twice in her life, once skin cancer which she had removed and once was cancer of the uterus which she also had to have removed. Without those procedures she wouldn’t be with us today. My granddad is currently suffering from skin cancer, we’re waiting for an appointment to have it removed so he can continue living his long life. We’re lucky these procedures are available, I’m running to help find new medicines and procedures to help others just like my grandparents. There are so many out there who haven’t been as lucky as we have.
