My Story
This February, I’m running 56 miles to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. I am doing this challenge as recently we found out my Grand Parent had been diagnosed with Colon Cancer, 2 years ago she beat breast cancer and to find out she had cancer again was heartbreaking. She’s the strongest person I know and we are all so proud of her and without the help of Cancer Research UK, we wouldn’t be in the position we are today. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
