My Grandma
My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This March I’m walking 10,000 steps a day throughout the month to help beat cancer. Help me Walk All Over Cancer and fund life-saving research by making a donation to my page. As some of you may know my Grandma was diagnosed with cancer in 2020, the diagnosis was extremely delayed due to the corona virus pandemic and sadly the cancer was too advanced at this stage to offer any treatment. Heartbreakingly my Grandma passed away in December. We all miss her terribly. This will be the first fundraising that I do in my wonderful Grandmas memory for both Cancer research and Trinity hospice. I would like to raise money towards cancer research to help prevent others having to go through what my Grandma did and save lives.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
