In memory of
Andrew Bennett
My Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our fundraising page. We're raising money as an ICT department in memory of our colleague Andrew Bennett, who passed away from Cancer in May 2020. Andrew was a good man and we hope to do a little something in his memory in raising money for Cancer Research UK. Andrew was passionate about trains so we found an around the world train journey that is 33,000km over 53 days, and we're attempting to travel the same distance as a department by foot, on bikes, rowing boats and anything physical. Whilst we are aiming for 33,000km, we want to go further and are asking our big technology partners to sponsor us for travelling further in support of Cancer Research UK. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
