Kirsty's Race for Life
Manchester 5k 2019
Sun 14 Jul 2019 - Sun 14 Jul 2019
Many of you will remember me doing the 10,000 steps a day challenge for my Grandad last year who was about to start his chemo for lymphatic cancer. After receiving the all clear for this he was unfortunately diagnosed with a secondary cancer in his kidneys which he has now again received the all clear on!! He is my fighter and the strength he shown through all of this was admirable! He is one of the lucky ones and with the strength and determination he had, as well as the support from family, consultants and his nurses he is A SURVIVOR of cancer! So again, I’m here to ask for donations no matter how small to give back, and to give forward. Nowadays we are not far from someone who has cancer, so I want to show my thanks and my support! So please if you can donate - let’s come together in our fight to find a cure for cancer! ❤️❤️❤️ Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.
