I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer

In memory of

My Mum, Gillian Langridge

04 Jan 1944 - 03 Oct 2004

My Mum was extremely fit and ate healthily, yet cancer still got hold of her and she lost her battle aged 60. This destructive disease can affect anyone. I expect most of you reading this will know someone whose life has been destroyed by cancer. That's why we need to beat it.
I only started running 18 months ago and I'm sure my mum would never have thought I could run around the block, let alone run 5K! So I'm doing this to show her what I can do now and I know she'll be watching and cheering me on.

Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives.

1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.
