I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer sooner! I have never ran this race and I think it is about time! Running for all those who have had cancer unfortunately more every day!
My Story
Hi my name is Kirsty and I am a new mum with a two month year old daughter Isla (please see the pictures 😀) so this 5k run is going to be hard with only a few months training but I want to do it for all those affected by cancer. I am shocked at how many people I know who have been affected by cancer and the numbers are growing. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour.
